Same-day dispatch available with affidavit turned around the same day.
Notarizations, document review, stake-outs, and record prep scheduled around your timeline.
Section I — Services Offered
One call covers the whole file.
Process serving is the core of the practice — everything else exists to support the paperwork around it, so you're not chasing five different vendors for one case.
Service of Process
Summonses, complaints, subpoenas, small claims, eviction and foreclosure postings, and other legal papers served in person and documented properly.
- Standard, rush, and 24-hours-or-less dispatch
- Foreclosure and eviction postings on-site
- Familiar with the added service/affidavit steps many courts require in consumer-credit and debt-collection matters
- 24/7 emergency dispatch available for time-sensitive filings (TROs, orders of protection)
Stake-Outs
For subjects who are avoiding service, a stake-out puts eyes on the address until they show.
- Flat rate includes the first hour on site
- Billed hourly after that, at a reduced rate on longer jobs
- Often paired with a search/locate to confirm the address first
Search & Locate Services
When an address is stale or unknown, a search is run before attempts continue.
- Skip tracing and name & address searches
- DMV and postal (address-verification) searches, where permitted
- Quoted per case once the file is reviewed
Notarizations
General notarial acts — acknowledgments, jurats, and oaths — scheduled by appointment, in-office or on location.
- Statutory notarial fee plus a travel/appointment fee
- Loan signings and closings by arrangement
- Valid photo ID required for every signer
Document Review
A grammar, clarity, and formatting pass on letters, notices, and filings before they go out the door.
- Spelling, grammar, and formatting only
- Not a substitute for attorney review
- Standard or rush turnaround available
Legal Notice Preparation
Drafting of routine notices — pay-or-quit notices, notices to cure, demand letters — from the facts and templates you provide.
- Prepared from your information, not legal advice
- Formatted, proofed, and ready to serve or mail
- Can be paired with the same service appointment
Filing, Index Numbers & Courier Support
The courthouse errands that eat up a workday, handled for you.
- Index number purchases at the county clerk's office
- Court filing and retrieval runs, plus photocopying
- Case record organizing, retrieval, and digital copies
Email / Mail Service
Documents sent by mail or email in lieu of or alongside personal service, where the court or agreement permits it.
- Flat service fee plus actual postage
- Certificate of mailing on request
- Not a substitute for personal service unless the rules allow it
Private Investigation Services
Once fully licensed as a private investigator in New York, On Notice will expand into broader investigative work.
- Not currently offered or advertised as a licensed service
- Stake-outs and locates above are offered today in direct support of process serving
- Reach out to be notified when this launches

Section III — For Law Firms
A standing docket, not a one-off call.
Most solo servers in this region only take one-off jobs. On Notice offers a monthly subscription for firms that need serves handled every month — with priority, predictability, and one point of contact.
Solo Docket
For firms or landlords with a steady trickle of serves — a handful a month, not a caseload.
- 3 standard-turnaround serves included each month
- 15% off all additional serves, stake-outs, and add-ons
- Priority scheduling ahead of non-subscriber requests
- Monthly case summary — every affidavit in one file
Priority Docket
Built for firms filing every week — reserved capacity, a direct line, and courthouse errands handled.
- 6 serves included each month — standard or rush, your call
- 1 same-day serve included each month
- 20% off all additional serves, stake-outs, and add-ons
- Direct line and email — skip the general queue
- 2 index-number filing runs included each month (we go to the clerk's office and get your case number issued — you pay only the court's own fee)
Firm Retainer
For high-volume filers — debt collection, insurance defense, landlord-tenant practices.
- Custom monthly serve volume and blended rate, quoted after a volume conversation
- Available on a 12-month or 6-month term, or month-to-month at a 25–30% premium over the corresponding term rate
- Guaranteed same-day capacity reserved for your firm
- One consolidated monthly invoice
Section IV — Service Area
Rooted in the Southern Tier.
On Notice is based in and primarily serves four counties. Jobs outside this area are welcome — reach out with the details and a travel-adjusted quote will be confirmed before anything is scheduled.
- 01 Chemung County
- 02 Tioga County
- 03 Steuben County
- 04 Schuyler County

Section VII — About
A dedicated point of contact, not a call center.
On Notice is an independently operated process serving and notary practice — one person handling your file from intake to affidavit, so nothing gets lost between departments.
It's a service the Southern Tier region has been missing: fast, documented, and reachable when you actually need an answer. As the practice grows, so will its credentials and capacity to serve the area.
On Notice is not a law firm.
On Notice provides process serving, notarization, and document support services. This is not legal advice, and On Notice does not act as your attorney or provide legal representation of any kind.
Document review is limited to grammar, clarity, and formatting — it is not a legal review and does not confirm that a document is accurate, complete, or legally sufficient. Legal notice preparation is drafted from the facts and instructions you provide and is not a legal opinion on your matter.
Before filing or serving any legal document, we strongly recommend consulting a licensed attorney to understand your rights, obligations, applicable deadlines, and the procedural rules that govern your specific matter.
